Mini Conducting Academy 2026/27 (Slovenia)

The Mini Conducting Academy 2026/27, led by conductor Simon Perčič, builds on the success of three previous editions of EMARSdirigiranje. This year's programme focuses on practical conducting experience, offering participants the opportunity to work with some of Slovenia's leading wind orchestras.

The Academy begins with three theoretical sessions in Ajdovščina, Koper and Sežana, followed by three conducting practicums held in different regions of Slovenia. The practical sessions will take place in collaboration with the Muta Wind Orchestra, the Velenje Coal Mine Wind Orchestra and the Krka Wind Orchestra (Novo mesto).

Combining theoretical instruction, score study, rehearsal techniques and hands-on podium experience, the Academy aims to develop participants' conducting skills, musical interpretation and rehearsal leadership.
